NHL Stanley Cup playoffs: New York Islanders vs. Carolina Hurricanes
The Hurricanes can sweep the great-of-seven collection at home on Friday. Earlier this season, famed Canadian hockey commentator Don Cherry did not like Carolina’s specific submit-sport celebrations, calling the Hurricanes a “bunch of jerks.” Now they’re five wins away from playing for the Stanley Cup. Should the Islanders make the bigger collection, game five can be on Sunday in New York. Carolina leads the series three-zero.
