July has begun most effectively; however, the climate is already sweltering. It’s crucial to stay hydrated during a summertime heatwave; however, let’s face it—water can get uninteresting! While infused water is good for switching up the flavor profile without including any extra energy or sugar, we have been searching for other hydration options. We decided to swing utilizing Trader Joe’s to test out their selection of summer drinks (study: determined an excuse to peruse the air-conditioned aisles of one of our favorite grocers), and we located a few delicious and refreshing beverages to keep us hydrated. Many drinks would be amazing in a healthful summer cocktail (or mocktail).
We had eight quite uneightnimous favorites out of the 15 beverages we tried, and we suppose you’ll love them, too. Here are our choices. Cold-Pressed Watermelon Juice. TJ’s cold-pressed watermelon juice is top-notch, clean, and has precise sweetness. This juice is made clear with watermelon and lemon juice, and it tastes as if you caught a straw in the fruit itself. This watermelon juice is an awesome source of potassium, diet A, and diet C, making it a sweet treat you can taste first-rate about consuming on a hot summer’s day. One of our personnel additionally loves the usage of it in festive cocktails!
Organic Lemongrass Spearmint Herbal Flavored Water
This natural water tastes like it’d be served at a spa and makes for a fun way to hydrate without sugar. We didn’t anticipate enjoying it a lot, and even though it does taste barely like our favorite minty gum, it’s a pleasing change of pace from plain old tap water. Toss in some sliced cucumbers, and you may as nicely beon your wayr to getting a rubdown!
Organic Cold-Pressed Fruit Stand Juice Beverage
Good paintings, Trader Joe’s! We’re huge enthusiasts of all of the flavors occurring on this tasty bottle. This juice contrasts with something we’ve tried since it’s made with pineapple, cucumber, coconut water, jicama, lime, red salt, and cayenne pepper. We know it sounds extraordinary, but you’ll trust us. This juice is pretty low in sugar as compared to other manufacturers. It has 15g inside the complete bottle, and none of it’s brought. TJ’s Fruit Stand juice might be the precise publish-exercise beverage, as it is loaded with potassium and a bit of sodium to get the eleelectrolytes need after a sweat consultation.
Blueberry & Pomegranate Green Tea
This drink became a real underdog thatSpeedyy has become a fan favorite inside the office. While some wish it were slightly sweetened, this tea has a complex sweet-tart flavor alongside earthy green tea and kept us looking greater! Our idea, TJ’s Blueberry & Pomegranate Green Tea, would make a killer cocktail along with a few simple syrups and your favorite spirit. Plus, one cup packs in 1/2 of your day-by-day Vitamin C desires!
Give. Us. All. The. Sparkling. Watermelon. Juice. While we already wrote a love letter to this TJ’s summer season beverage—and shared a cocktail recipe using it—we thought it was worth bringing up again.
While this sparkling water-juice hybrid datastore is more like “liquid Pop Rocks” than actual watermelon, we can’t get sufficient. It’s also a first-rate potassium source and even has 2g fiber for a toalthful boost.
Rhubarb & Strawberry Soda
This cute little can taste pretty farm-sparkling, in case you ask us. We are huge fans of the candied strawberry and tart rhubarb balance, and the bubbles make it fizzy and mild. We can’t wait to do that in a cocktail with sparkling basil or mint ASAP.
