Officials said on Sunday that telecom and water services were partially restored in Bhubaneswar and Puri after Cyclone Fani caused large damage in Odisha. Meanwhile, paintings are on a war footing to return the electricity connections as soon as possible.
The National Crisis Management Committee (NCMC), headed by Cabinet Secretary PK Sinha, reviewed comfort measures in affected areas of Odisha, West Bengal, and Andhra Pradesh days after the extraordinarily intense cyclonic typhoon hit the Japanese coast.
