In December, writer Alexandria Palliat released Ink & Parchment as a writing and modifying service for small agencies and other companies. Palliat recently spoke to The News-Post about her offerings and what she loves about operating her enterprise.
What made you need to open the writing business?
I even have an ardor for writing and modifying. Many humans I knew were coming to me and asking if I could edit their articles or papers. I found out that if I have human beings asking me to do that, that is a skill I can use to help groups improve, whether it be income or online presence. I could note grammar, punctuation, or spelling mistakes for numerous businesses, which bothers me. I wanted to help other organizations avoid that issue because it could reflect on a commercial enterprise, and I may be there to provide that support.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in Communications.
Is writing a hobby of yours?
I started university studying biology and became interested in it, but that’s not what my talent set became. I began taking English classe. Onee of my preferred instructors advised me, ‘You have something, and you don’t even recognize what rhetoric is, but you’re excelling at it in my elegance,’ so I changed my degree direction. I have continually been writing as an interest. In junior high, I commenced with fan fiction and improved, writing little snippets and pieces. Once I changed levels, I never seemed again, and it genuinely made that college adventure some distance greater worth it.
What kind of offerings do you provide to your customers?
